VisiVite i-Defense Green Formula
For Macular Degeneration
VisiVite i-Defense Green Formula is the most
powerful macular degeneration supplement available for patients with smoking
histories. It contains 15mg
FloraGLO brand Lutein, Anti-Oxidants, Zinc and 4.75mg OPTISHARP brand Zeaxanthin to
promote retinal health in patients who have macular degeneration.1
It contains no Beta-carotene. Based upon AREDS formula. Requires only
two capsules per day. Unlike Ocuvite Preservision, uses Natural Vitamin
E. Less Zinc for improved tolerability.
Begins with the formula of the National Eye Institute's Age Related Eye Disease
Study. Zinc is reduced to 40 milligrams daily for reduced gastrointestinal side
effects. Adds 15 milligrams of FlorGLO brand Lutein and 4.75 milligrams of
ZeaVision brand Zeaxanthin. Beta-carotene free for patients with a history of
habitual smoking within the past 20 years. With Natural Vitamin E.
